The 2006 All-Region team for Region 3-AA was announced on Wednesday.
    Southeast Bulloch placed four players on the team: pitcher Megan Barnwell, outfielder DeAnn Lewis, utility player Ciera Weaver and catcher Brittany Page
    The Lady Gamecocks of Screven County put five members on the team: pitcher Elizabeth Poythress, catcher Brandy Evans, first baseman Kate Blackburn, third baseman Shanita Patterson and outfielder Carly Bess.
    Both SEB and Screven County advanced to the Georgia High School Association Class AA Final Four in Columbus, Ga.
