Masterfard Muhammad “Willie Armstrong” passed on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at his residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.
The native of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, was retired from the Botanical Garden Encyclopedia Company and was a former manager for IHOP. He also worked as an insurance adjuster and was retired from the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Fard Muhammad, Statesboro, Ga.; a son, Vincent Armstrong, West Palm Beach, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Charles Mason, Kannapolis, North Carolina; stepsons, Virgil Toliver, Cornelius Toliver and Felix Roberts, all of Statesboro, Ga.; his mother-in-law, Betty Anderson, Statesboro, Ga.; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A private service will be held with burial to follow in the Georgia Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Glennville, Ga.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
