M. Claudette Akins, 76, of Savannah, Ga., passed away Thursday November 22, 2018, at St. Joseph's Hospital.             Claudette retired from Gulfstream Aerospace with over
20 plus years in the Service Center. She was a member of the Gulfstream Retiree Club. She loved her animals, especially her cats. Claudette loved gospel and country music. She also had a love for traveling.      

She was preceded in death by her parents Brooks Leroy and Eleanor Akins. She is survived by her sister, Edwiena Kubiak. Visitation: Saturday November 24, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home- Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

Funeral Service: Sunday November 25, 2018, at 2 p.m. at White Bluff Presbyterian Church with Rev. Eric Beene officiating. Interment will follow at Upper Mill Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Bulloch County.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to White Bluff Presbyterian Church.
