A Statesboro woman who reportedly assaulted a man with her SUV was charged Friday with aggravated assault.

The victim told Bulloch County Sheriff’s deputies his ex-girlfriend ran over his hand after knocking him down at a Dry Branch Village location with her 2003 Ford Expedition, according to an incident report by sheriff’s Cpl. Greg Collins.

Tanesha Roshan Odom, 22, of East Raymond Street, was arrested Friday on a charge of aggravated assault after the incident.

Collins stated that the victim was found on the ground around 1 a.m. Friday, unconscious and appearing to have had a seizure. When he recovered consciousness, the man told Collins and paramedics that Odom tried to run over him, missed, then backed up and struck him before running over his hand as she fled the scene.

Odom was taken to the Bulloch County Jail to await bond and other court hearings.
