A man wanted for hiding under a bed, attacking a woman and stealing her car is now behind bars. Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson said Robert Lee Whitting, 44, West Forest Circle, was apprehended Tuesday at a Millen motel by members of the United States Marshal’s Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Whitting reportedly stalked his ex-girlfriend before hiding under her bed then attacking her two weeks ago, he said.
