Citing “the uncertainty of Hurricane Irma,” Judge William E. Woodrum Jr., chief judge of the Ogeechee Circuit Superior Courts, issued an emergency order Thursday cancelling all court proceedings for Monday through Friday, Sept. 11-15. This affects the Superior Courts in Bulloch, Effingham, Jenkins and Screven counties. In Bulloch County, where jury selection was scheduled for Tuesday, people summoned as prospective jurors are released, said Bulloch County Clerk of Courts Heather Banks McNeal.
