Spring soccer rec season opens at Mill Creek

More than 250 children signed up to play in the Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department league.

The Statesboro-Bulloch County Recreation Department opened its 2007 Spring season with more than 20 games Thursday evening at Mill Creek Park. Boys and girls compete in age groups from 4 years old to 14. The season continues through the end of April.
