I wish somebody would call in Soundoff ... and tell me how in the world you get rid of squirrels. They have completely destroyed my pecan crop. ... I would appreciate it very much! Bye!

don't understand why they don't have speed bumps ... at every stop sign, especially out in the country because ... people that are new to the area or people travelin' through ... lotta times don't see the stop signs and ... a lotta people's lives could be saved. ... Thank you.

Regarding A Day for Southern that was in the paper today, we sure hope the funds raised will be used for projects such as stated in the Herald. Georgia Southern Museum, wildlife center, Botanical Gardens, performing arts center, the symphony and other continuing education programs and not be used to bring communists, socialists, terrorists and radicals ... such as William Ayers and Angela Davis to poison our students' thinkin'. God bless our students of GSA and God bless the USA.

I read in Soundoff that GSU fans want to be Georgia fans, but Georgia fans don't care about being GSU fans. Let me clear the air. Georgia has only rang the bell one time, while GSU has rang it six times and could again this season. Georgia's season has again been put out to pasture since they quit playing two years ago and only show up for the game. Auburn, Florida, LSU and The Tide has been ring it quite often. Alabama, the New York Yankees of College football, has rang it 15 times.
