For the Soundoff caller who ... found it hard to explain to the younger children what GATA meant, G-A-T-A ... we all know who've been around a while that Erk ... always said it meant Get After Them Aggressively. But he also had another ... word he used with his athletes.

Let us all remember ... that our two Republican U.S. senators have twice voted against a middle-class tax break extension ... and also against an extension of unemployment benefits.

... A friend of mine and I were talkin' about the battered women's shelter ... and how ... the women and her children had to run for safety. ... And she said ... looks like it'd be the other way ‘round. The man that's been beatin' on his family or ... vice-versa, wife beatin' on her husband, that they would hafto leave. ... And I thought that had merit. ... So, wish somebody'd get that started. The one that's bein ... beat on, stay in the house!

To the person complainin' ... about the GATA Eagles ... billboards and commercials. Just tell your kids it stands for Get After Them Aggressively. Our G-A-T-A Eagles.

I really ... wanted to call Soundoff ... to thank the person who took ... the foam pillow off the ... faucet at the end of my driveway. ... They also broke the faucet off ... and left it ... to run. Thank you. Bye.

Hello, Georgia Southern Eagle fans! ... Is it just me ... or does there appear to be a pattern within our athletic department? One step forward, two steps back. ... Hmmm. Have a good day.

I’m responding to the person that’s calling … about … Bush’s water-boarding. … The opposition was not about … so much about the water-boarding … as it was the people bein’ water-boarded. … Innocent people. … People in Iraq turned in their neighbors just to collect money. … Some of those people were water-boarded. Innocent people. … How ‘bout that?
