The Rotary Club of Statesboro awarded 19 $1,000 Service Above Self Scholarships at its April 19 meeting. 

The scholarships were awarded to local high school seniors planning to attend college in the state of Georgia who exemplified high academic achievement and outstanding service to their schools and communities.
