Maurice Jackson Dellinger, 30, Perkins Mill Road, Claxton – felony probation violation (Claxton Police).

Dramont Lavell Mincey, 39, Rolling Oak Apartments, River Street, Claxton – DUI. Improper parking, failure to maintain lane (Claxton Police).

Evans County Sheriff’s Office
MAGNOLIA STREET – A woman said a man who fought with her boyfriend earlier fired a shot at her when she drove down the street.
PINE RIDGE DRIVE – A woman said a man punched her, injuring her stomach, eye and head. The offender suffered from a traumatic brain injury, she said. Warrants for his arrests were issued.
TRADEWINDS WAY – Someone reported property being rolled with toilet paper, and a vehicle covered in cheese, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, flour and other substances.
BROAD STREET – Two men fought about one being noisy while the other tried to get a baby to sleep.
RIVERSIDE DRIVE – A man said someone high on drugs struck him in the head and damaged his truck.
Statesboro Fire Department
During the week of Oct. 14-20, firefighters responded to 18 calls, including the following: a residential kitchen fire on Chandler Road; automatic aid with Bulloch Fire at a structure on Factory and Bonnette roads in Portal; a smoke scare, two electrical issues and a false call.
Also, 11 alarms calls and a Halloween “Tent or Treat” event at Morris Heights Apartments.
Bulloch County Fire Department
Between Oct. 17-24, firefighters responded to the following calls:
Portal – one structure fire, two alarm calls, one vehicle fire.
Register – three reports of smoke in a home, two alarm calls, two vehicle fires.
Nevils – one vehicle fire, two alarm calls.
Bay District – two alarm calls.
Stilson – one alarm call, one vehicle fire.
Brooklet- one assist with a structure fire
Leefield – no calls.
Clito – one alarm call, one assist with a structure fire.
Brooklet Police Department
Last week, officers issued 34 speeding tickets, two citations for expired license, and two for improper passing. Also, one citation for expired tag, one for window tint violations, two stop sign violation citations, one citation for failure to change address upon moving, and one for failure to maintain lane. Officers also took a report for damage to property.
Portal Police Department
For the week of Oct.18-24, Portal Police officers issued five traffic citations and seven warnings; responded to eight general calls for service, assisted two motorists, and performed business, school and residential safety checks.
Metter Police Department

Candler County Sheriff’s Office
HOPE VALLEY CIRCLE –Someone reported 1st degree criminal damage to property. In two other separate cases people reported 2nd degree criminal damage to property and one report of criminal trespass.
HWY. 57 – Someone reported theft of lost or mislaid property.
BROOKS LANE – Deputies responded to a report of criminal trespass.
