Statesboro Police Department

HAWTHORNE APARTMENTS - A man reported the theft of a wallet, debit cards and other items from a car.
DISCOUNT BEVERAGE AND TOBACCO - Someone broke in and stole $20 worth of alcohol and $5 worth of cigarettes.
KMART - A suspect in a felony shoplifting incident struck an officer in the face in an attempt to escape.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
TEEPEE WAY - A man said that a woman is suspected to have stolen his wife's debit card while she was in his home. He said she stayed there while he went to get gasoline for someone who was out of gas, and when they returned, his wife checked her purse and found the card missing. Two charges were made on the card.
BURNSED ROAD - A woman said that a house she owned had been torn down without her permission and that a nephew owed her $900 for work he was supposed to do on the house but did not.
THE BARN MOBILE HOME PARK - A woman reported being notified by the Social Security Administration that she was a victim of fraud.
COWBOY WAY - A man reported that his house was burglarized. His door was damaged, and a tattoo kit was missing. Someone told him who stole the items and sold them, and he shared this information with deputies.
GABBIES RUN - A man refused to go to the hospital after being injured during a wrestling match for fun. He was struck in the pacemaker and bled but refused to get help or go with EMS.
PECAN GROVE CIRCLE - Deputies responded to a domestic dispute in which a woman said that a man had her cellphone. The phone was found in a bag in her house. She also said a man took a car battery and "came at her" with a screwdriver.
    In a separate incident, a woman was yelling and acting unruly, angry about an $800 electric bill she said her brother owed. She grabbed a case of beer and went around the neighborhood, screaming and cursing, and was arrested.
PAMELA WAY - An intoxicated woman was arrested after she was found lying on the ground. She kept cursing deputies and trying to strike her head on the patrol car after her arrest.
OLD MILL WAY - A man reported the theft of several power tools.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued two traffic citations and 11 traffic warnings and assisted eight motorists.
