Faye Antoinette Cope, 53, Halcyondale Road, Sylvania — theft by shoplifting.
Craig LaShawn Hodges, 36, Hunnicutt Drive — cruelty to children, possession of marijuana, battery.

REBEKAH ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said his girlfriend came to his house and caught him in bed with another woman. After an argument, she damaged his car, he said. He didn’t want her to go to jail because she is expecting his baby, he told deputies.
CHESTNUT OAK LANE — (Statesboro) A woman reported what she believes to be an employment scam listed on Craigslist.
EVERGREEN DRIVE — A man operating a tractor trailer accidentally struck power lines hanging over the road, causing the lines to come down, damaging the lines and a utility pole.
