▲ GEORGE ROAD — A man found people in a brown Crown Victoria, stuck on an impassable path on private property. They claimed they were looking for a new home but there are only two houses on that road, he said. The car was removed by someone in a black Dodge truck with a ladder rack before deputies arrived.

▲ WEST WATERS ROAD — A woman ignored a text claiming she had been approved for a $4,000 loan, but got a call an hour after receiving the text from a man who said his name was Mark Brown. He assured her she had been approved, and told her the money would be available. He also had her personal information, which he tried to get her to verify. She checked her bank and learned there had been several attempts to withdraw money, but fortunately she didn’t have much cash in that account, she said.

▲ HIGHWAY 46 — Deputies responding to a reported domestic dispute arrested an offender who was wanted on a probation violation.

▲ STATESBORO PLACE CIRCLE — A woman reported her keys were missing from a table, where she had left them.

▲ 1800 BLOCK NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST — Police responded to a report of simple assault and gave the victim advice on seeking warrants.

▲ EAST GRADY STREET — A woman went to the hospital, where she met police and told them she was there to be treated for a hand injury sustained in a fight with her mother.

▲ SOUTH MAIN STREET — Police responded to a fight involving three females and two males, and gave them information about how to seek warrants.

▲ STAMBUK LANE — A woman said her ex-boyfriend broke her window.

▲ GATA DRIVE — A woman reported the theft of an iPhone.
