Statesboro Police Department
    THOMAS STREET — A man and woman reported that their neighbors threatened them and struck one of them in the face. Police advised them how to get a warrant.
    GEORGIA AVENUE — A resident reported that a Smith & Wesson handgun, with 16 rounds in the magazine and one in the chamber, was stolen during a house party. Gun and ammo were valued at more than $500.
    HILL STREET — A man reported Sunday that his father struck him in the face with a chair. The father reported that the son swung at him first. Police arrested the older man on a battery (family violence) charge.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    HIGHWAY 80 WEST — A woman reported she was notified by her bank of two authorized transactions totaling about $158 made with her card at a Rite Aid in New York City on March 3. She cancelled the card.
    SHERIFF’S OFFICE LOBBY — The owner of a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier reported that sometime between midnight and morning Monday someone slashed one of the vehicle’s tires. The owner recently moved to the area and reported having no known enemies.
 
Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued one traffic citation and two warnings and assisted two motorists.
