INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police Department

JOHNSON STREET - After responding to a call Friday afternoon about a fight near Butler Homes, police noted that one man was treated by EMS and released and that the victim and witness were uncooperative with the investigation.
POLICE HEADQUARTERS - A Statesboro resident reported Saturday that she received a letter from her bank about some pending withdrawals, which she knew nothing about, from her account. This is being investigation as a possible identity fraud case.
LANIER DRIVE - A woman reported Friday evening that someone she had an argument with threatened to shoot her.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
OLD REGISTER ROAD - A Heritage Mobile Home Park resident reported a burglary Friday. It was listed as a felony and turned over the sheriff's investigators' office, but the incident report gave no information about what was stolen.
HIGHWAY 301 NORTH - After a man reported that his girlfriend had been in some type of altercation, she told a deputy she had gone for a walk about 9 p.m. Saturday and been approached by two Hispanic men. The woman at first said she had been sexually assaulted, but then told an investigator she had been "groped" but not raped and signed a waiver of prosecution, according to the report.
NEW CASTLE ROAD - A man and a woman had an argument, which the man said was about diapers. This led to the woman striking the man's vehicle several times with a baseball bat, a deputy reported. The woman was charged with criminal damage to property.
ELDORA BAPTIST CHURCH - A child jumped out of a swing and fell into a fire that was in front of the swing set, the child's grandmother reported. The child was airlifted to the burn center in Augusta, reportedly with second-degree burns to the hands and forearms.
ASH BRANCH CHURCH ROAD - A vehicle that turned out to have been reported stolen in Bryan County was recovered early Sunday morning. The Bulloch County deputy called to the scene found a window down and the keys missing, with a man's driver's license and four unopened beers on the floorboard.
PLEASANT POINT ROAD - A woman reported that, after hearing a noise outside, she opened the door of her home and saw a black sports car at the end of the driveway and someone trying to get her dog into the vehicle. When the car's occupants saw her, they dropped the dog and left.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued one traffic citation and two warnings and assisted four motorists.
SOUTHERN PINES - A theft of unattended property was reported.
PARKING LOT C - A theft was reported.
PAULSON PARKING - A car break-in was reported.

In the past week, troopers investigated 15 crashes with two reported injuries and no fatalities, issued six citations and two warnings for seatbelt violations, two child restraint citations and 11 citations and 26 warnings for speeding.
