Police report - 3-1-15; Euthanized at animal shelter eight dogs and 11 cats.

Arrests/Citations
    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    Deneraious Laquete Barnes, 18, Epps Bridge Parkway, Athens — state court bench warrant.
    Gary Levon Sabb, 59, Banks Creek Church Road, Portal — DUI, seat-belt violation, cocaine possession.
    Ulysses S. Grant, 65, Two Chop Road — pointing a firearm at another, disorderly conduct.
    Danny Deonta Spells, 24, Lanier Drive — possession of a drug-related object.
    Stephen Lamont Payne, 31, Lucky Street, Swainsboro — suspended license.

INCIDENTS
    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Metter Police Department
    ROUNTREE STREET — Officers responded to an accident Feb. 16 in which someone struck an unattended vehicle.
    WASHINGTON STREET — Officers investigated a burglary Feb. 17.
    ELMER STREET — Police responded to a reported fight Feb. 19.
    SOUTH LEWIS STREET — Officers responded Feb. 20 to a report of terroristic threats and investigated an arson incident. On Feb. 22, police responded to an incident involving DUI and other traffic charges.

Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of Feb. 16-20:
    Surrendered by citizens — 20 dogs and two cats from rural county areas; three dogs from City of Statesboro.
    Collected by officers — five dogs from rural county areas; two dogs and two cats from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter — six dogs and one cat.
    Reclaimed by owners — four dogs.
    Died at shelter — two dogs.
    Euthanized — eight dogs and 11 cats.
    Fees collected — $ 615.
