▲ INTERSTATE 16 — A semi truck was a total loss after a fire started in the passenger-side compartment. The attached trailer was undamaged.

▲ COWBOY WAY — Deputies responded to a residence in reference to an earlier report of disruption of a public school and simple assault. A juvenile offender was arrested. 

▲ WILSON ROAD — A power company employee reported someone tampered with an electric meter.

▲ SEED TICK ROAD — Deputies responded to a reported domestic dispute, but one party was uncooperative. Each one involved was given information on seeking warrants.

▲ DEERWOOD APARTMENTS — A man said someone called him with threats that if he did not make a payment to the Social Security office, he would be arrested.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — Someone gave police information on alleged drug activity.

▲ EAST MAIN STREET — A woman said her boyfriend struck her in the mouth during an altercation.

▲ MARKET 100 — A woman said she left her handbag in a common area for 10 minutes and someone stole $100.

▲ STADIUM PLACE APARTMENTS — A man and woman agreed to separate after having an argument over various issues.

▲ FOOD WORLD/NORTHSIDE DRIVE WEST — Someone reported the theft of $400 from a cash register.

▲ LOCO’S DELI AND PUB — Someone spray painted several pillars on the property.

▲ EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — Police were called when a patient became disorderly.

▲ WEST ALTMAN STREET — Someone was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and simple assault.

▲ WEST JONES AVENUE — A police response to a domestic dispute led to an arrest on simple battery/family violence and probation violation charges.

▲ ORANGE STREET — Someone reported the theft of a bicycle.

▲ SOUTH COLLEGE STREET — Officers responded to a verbal dispute.

▲ NORTH MAIN STREET — Someone reported a gun was stolen.

▲ JULIA P. BRYANT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL — A juvenile was taken into custody and returned to a guardian after police responded to a report of disrupting public school.

▲ FLASH FOODS/SOUTH MAIN STREET — Someone reported a shoplifting incident. No arrests were made.

➤ Georgia Southern University Police 

▲ Officers issued nine traffic citations and three traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.

▲ DINING COMMONS — Someone reported being harassed.

▲ GENTILLY ROAD — A person was arrested on DUI and headlights violation charges.

▲ CENTENNIAL PLACE — A person was arrested for underage possession of alcohol, obstruction and false ID.

▲ Last week, troopers investigated 17 crashes with five reported injuries and arrested six for DUI.

▲ Troopers also issued 11 citations and two warnings for seat belt violations, one citation for child restraint violations, and 15 citations and 25 warnings for speeding.
