Statesboro Police Department
HARVEY DRIVE - Police responded to a call about a black male wearing an orange shirt and jeans who reportedly stole $5 from a car before fleeing.
VALLEY ROAD - A woman responded to an advertisement about vehicle wraps and contacted the company soliciting them. The company sent her a check for more than agreed upon, and she reported it as a scam.
RUCKER LANE - A man reported tools stolen from his truck bed.
EXPRESS TUNE & LUBE - A man reported an incident in which a woman tried to obtain money through deceptive means. Reports did not give details about the deception.
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - Two men were caught shoplifting. One was charged with theft by shoplifting and one was charged with theft by shoplifting as well as theft by receiving stolen property.
In a separate incident, a woman was charged with DUI/drugs after a private property accident.
In another incident, a man was arrested after shoplifting $85 worth of property.
In a fourth incident, multiple offenders were charged with shoplifting after taking $80 worth of property.
KMART - A woman attempted to conceal a large amount of clothing and leave without paying but was apprehended and arrested.
MULBERRY COURT - Officers responding to a fight arrested a person who continued to be unruly and irate and yelled profanities. The offender was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
GEORGIA AVENUE - Police responded to a domestic disturbance that turned out to be only verbal.
WAFFLE HOUSE/SOUTH MAIN STREET - After a disturbance was reported, two men were arrested for public intoxication and loitering/prowling.
SOUTHERN DOWNS - Officers responded to a reported domestic dispute in which the parties involved said was only verbal.
ROBIN HOOD TRAIL - A woman told police an argument with her boyfriend turned physical. Officers explained the warrant process in case she wanted to press charges.
WEST MAIN STREET - A man told police he was attacked by a male he knows only by the name "Brandon." He was unable to provide further information.
CAMPUS EVOLUTION VILLAGE - A man reported someone tried to steal his tire and wheel from a car.

STILES STREET - A family dog bit a child over the eye, and the child was taken to the hospital for treatment. The wound only needed slight medical attention, and the owner told police the dog was not aggressive and provided rabies vaccination information.
EGRET PLACE - A woman said a man became angry, would not allow her to go to work, grabbed and snatched at her hair and held her mouth closed when she called for help. He took her keys and cellphone, but when he fell asleep, she escaped and went to the sheriff's office to report the incident.
BIRD ROAD - A unruly male juvenile threw a frying pan outside and refused to obey adults, including deputies, and was arrested.
PONDEROSA ROAD - A man reported harassing calls from what sounded like a white female and a man of "Middle Eastern descent." The woman told the complainant to leave her daughter alone, and the man made sexual references regarding the victim's dog, he said.
BRANNEN DRIVE - A man was arrested after causing damage to a residence's walls and causing visible injuries to a male victim.
NEVILS-GROVELAND ROAD - An elderly man was found walking down the road, intoxicated and staggering, after a complainant called to report he was harassing them at their home and was unwanted. When questioned, the offender started talking about being treated badly by women in Florida. He was arrested on public intoxication charges.
D. ANDERSON ROAD - A man reported $1,000 worth of pine straw stolen.
ASH BRANCH CHURCH ROAD - A woman called 911 to report she had been raped. She was still in the home with the accused rapist, so 911 operators told her to leave for a safe place. They arranged for her to meet with deputies, but she drove into Bryan County and refused to turn around and meet with Bulloch deputies, advising them to "forget it." She then refused to answer her phone. Deputies questioned the man she accused of rape and took statements from him.
OLD PORTAL ROAD - A man reported someone stopped by his home at night and shot his dog, killing it.
Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued one traffic citation and three traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.
Georgia State Patrol Post 45
Troopers investigated 21 crashes with 15 reported injuries and no reported fatalities Friday through Monday. They also issued two citations and 21 warnings for seatbelt violations.
