    THE COVE AT SOUTHERN — Police responded to reports of shots fired around 3 p.m. Sunday. No victims or suspects were found and witnesses gave conflicting testimony, police said.
    BIG MA’S SOUL FOOD — A woman told police around 3 p.m. Saturday that a man stole about $60 to $80 from a tip jar.
    MIKELL STREET — A woman told officers around 8:30 p.m. Saturday that a man slapped her in the face twice.
    CAMPUS CROSSINGS — A woman, being unruly while being given a citation for parking illegally in a handicapped parking space, was arrested just before midnight Saturday on disorderly conduct charges.
    ADVANCE AUTO PARTS — Police arrested a man around 4:20 p.m. Friday for shoplifting a strap-down system valued at $25.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — (Northside Drive East) A woman was arrested around 3:15 p.m. Thursday after shoplifting cat litter, Tootie Frootie cereal, throat drops, a jacket, a shirt, sleeping pills, eye drops and key rings.
    Around 1:30 p.m. Friday, two men were arrested for shoplifting $24 worth of grapes, juice, mandarin oranges, ham, turkey and strawberry jam.
Around 5 p.m. Friday, two women were arrested for shoplifting Advent pads, clothing, mittens and baby bibs.
    Between 4:15 and 5:15 p.m. Saturday, a woman was arrested for shoplifting around $106 worth of clothing after being involved in a hit-and-run collision in the parking lot. Police found stolen items in her possession, and she was also charged with DUI/drugs.
    STATESBORO CAR WASH — Someone stole a handgun from a vehicle between 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Jan. 6.
    EAGLE HEALTH AND REHAB — Someone stole a black mink coat worth $5,000 from an 89-year-old woman between 3:30 p.m. Dec. 27 and around 11:59 p.m. Dec. 31.  
    WHISPERING PINES BOULEVARD — A man was arrested for false imprisonment and simple batter around 9 p.m. Friday after involvement in a domestic dispute. Reports did not list details of the incident.
    EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — Someone stole $200 belonging to a patient between 8 a.m. Thursday and 5:45 p.m. Saturday.
    A&R STORE — (East Parrish Street) Police arrested a woman they saw punching a man who was driving a car around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. 
    MIDTOWN BAR AND GRILL — A man who refused to leave when asked was arrested on charges of open container and marijuana possession around 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
    LOWE’S — A man was arrested around 5 p.m. Saturday for shoplifting about $275 worth of supplies and tools.
    ROGERS COURT — A woman told police that a man with whom she had a past relationship was stalking her. She said he came to her home repeatedly without permission and refused to stop between 6 and 8:45 p.m. Monday. Warrants were issued for the man.
    GATE STATION — (South Main Street) A man told police around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday that another man threatened him with bodily harm.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — (Northside Drive East) A woman was arrested around 11 a.m. Monday, after shoplifting chicken drumsticks, tomato sauce, bread and eggs, totaling $40, and a planner valued at $8.
    Around 8 p.m. Monday, two unknown men shoplifted Nos Blast drinks, chicken breast strips and trash bags.
    THE GROVE APARTMENTS — A woman told police around 5:45 p.m. Monday that her roommate threatened her with bodily harm during an argument over dishes.

    ALLENOOD DRIVE — A juvenile was arrested around 6:15 p.m. Saturday for terroristic threats and participating in criminal gang activity. The juvenile was taken to the Claxton Regional Youth Detention Center.
    PAMELA WAY — A woman told deputies around 6:30 p.m. Saturday that her children’s Christmas gift, a miniature bike, was stolen.
    LANGSTON CHAPEL ROAD — Two men fought over someone throwing food on a car around 5:30 a.m. Sunday.
    JONES MILL ROAD — Two women were arrested around 11:45 p.m. Sunday on drug and other charges after involvement in a domestic dispute.
    COUNTRY CORNER — (Stilson) Deputies responded around 11 p.m. Monday to reports of an abandoned truck. The unlocked truck was near some fencing that appeared to have been tampered with, and deputies found three firearms in the truck. The truck was registered to a convicted felon, so deputies seized the guns and contacted the truck owner. The truck owner said he was selling the truck to a man whose name was engraved on one of the guns, but deputies could not locate that man. He later called the sheriff’s office to report his guns stolen, and deputies explained why they confiscated the firearms.

    Officers issued one traffic citation Monday.
    Jhabree Malik Cottle, 20, address unavailable — possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of drug-related objects.

    Officers issued one traffic warning and assisted three motorists Monday.

Troopers investigated 21 crashes with seven reported injuries and issued seven seat-belt violation warnings, 34 speeding warnings, and 68 total warnings.
