INCIDENTS

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ MAY ROAD — A woman reported a neighbor’s suspicious activity. She told deputies he posted signs on his property that may seem offensive to some and said she heard gunfire coming from his property, reports stated.

▲ G.W. OLIVER ROAD — A woman reported the theft of a riding lawn mower and a weed eater.

▲ DOY NEWTON MOBILE HOME PARK — A man was arrested on criminal trespass charges, while others were served with criminal trespass warnings.

▲ SALLY MAE’S RESTAURANT — A man noticed a suspicious amount of voided transactions and suspected an employee of stealing. The employee did not admit or deny wrongdoing but agreed to make restitution.

▲ CREPE MYRTLE EAST — A man accused a woman of stealing tools and jewelry from his home. The woman, whom he had dated but was no longer his girlfriend, denied the accusations.

▲ MAPLE DRIVE — A man said another man implanted a “mind-controlling device” in his body and since the offender “left a mental institution one or two years ago,” he has been controlling the complainant’s mind and actions and uses the device to threaten to kill the complainant.


➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ WOODLAND DRIVE — Officers responded to a reported domestic dispute.

▲ EAST MAIN STREET — After investigating a reported suspicious incident, an officer determined there was no need for police intervention. No further details were included in reports.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued no traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.

▲ LEWIS HALL — Someone reported a suspicious person/activities.

▲ UNIVERSITY VILLAS — Someone was arrested on criminal trespass charges.
