Statesboro police are seeking the public's help in locating a man suspected in a burglary on South College Street in August.

The Police Department released a "be on the lookout" alert Friday on its Facebook page for Ryan Robinson, 24, who is described as a black male standing 5 feet 10 inches and weighing around 180 pounds.

The alert lists a police report linking Robinson to an Aug. 13 burglary on South College Street in which a victim reported a TV stolen after someone shattered a residential window.

Robinson is listed as a suspect in the burglary. He may have a scar or tattoo underneath his left eye and a tattoo on his left arm, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call (912)764-9911.

Anonymous tips may also be submitted online at www.tipsoft.com or by sending a text message beginning with "TIPSSPD" to 274637 (CRIMES). All information is strictly confidential, Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner said.
