A man was killed just before 6 p.m. Monday when a black Ford F250 and a motorcycle collided on Williams Road near Pear Orchard Road, authorities said.
Brian Buresh, 19, of Pembroke, was pronounced dead at the scene, Bulloch County Deputy Coroner Richard Pylant said.
Georgia State Patrol, Bulloch County sheriff's deputies and Statesboro firefighters responded to the scene around 5:55 p.m. after Bulloch County 911 dispatched them to the accident, adding that grass on both sides of the road, as well as the motorcycle, was on fire.
A deputy at the scene reported the driver of the motorcycle was dead.
