Additional forums on school safety, open to all Bulloch County Schools students, parents, employees and community members, will be hosted by Statesboro High School on Monday, March 26, and by Portal Elementary School on Wednesday, March 28, both from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Although not specifically about school safety, the annual Speak Up for Education event, Thursday, March 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Statesboro High will also provide parents an additional opportunity to talk to Superintendent Charles Wilson about safety concerns, said Hayley Greene, public relations specialist for Bulloch County Schools. Wilson will host 30-minute listening sessions beginning at 6:20, 6:55 and 7:30. The 7:30 p.m. session will also provide Spanish translation.
