Jenkins County man missing for 2 months

    Jenkins County Sheriff Robert Oglesby said Friday that no foul play is suspected in the case of a Jenkins County man missing since early July.
    Joseph Jenkins, 58, of Perkins Hiltonia Road, was picked up July 5 at Jenkins County Hospital by his sister-in-law, his brother Calvin Jenkins told the sheriff’s office.
    Joseph Jenkins, who is a “bad diabetic,” according to the report, has not been seen since. There has been no activity in his bank account, reports state.
    His family filed a missing person’s report Aug. 28.
    Joseph Jenkins is a black male, 5 feet 8 inches and around 150 pounds. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Oglesby at (478) 982-4211.
