With just a shade over two weeks to go before the Nov. 7 general election, Lt. Gov. Mark Taylor took his campaign for governor against incumbent Republican Sonny Perdue to Paulson Stadium Saturday.

The Democratic candidate enjoyed a sandwich with some tailgators and socialized with the crowd prior to the game against Appalachian State. Taylor's enthusiastic prediction for a Georgia Southern victory, alas, did not come true as the Eagles fell in double overtime, 27-20.
