Georgia Southern University's College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences will host Scott McCloud, cartoonist and comic book theorist, on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 5:30 p.m. in room 1115 of the College of Education. "I wanted to bring Scott McCloud to the university because he is a renowned lecturer and because of his work as a comic artist, scholar of comics and graphic representation," said Les Loncharich, Ph.D., event coordinator and professor in the Department of Writing and Linguistics. "He brings a demonstrated mastery of composing with words and images in combination.
