A man Bulloch County Sheriff's deputies sought in relation to selling methamphetamine is behind bars, arrested Wednesday, according to reports.
James Edward Parrish Jr., 28, Burkhalter Road, was taken into custody Wednesday on charges of methamphetamine possession, sale of methamphetamine and manufacturing methamphetamine, said Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson.
Bulloch County Drug Suppression Team agents searched Parrish's home Friday after undercover agents made several purchases of methamphetamine from him and his girlfriend, Casey Marie Kicklighter, 27, also of the same See Pines Apartments address as Parrish, he said.
Kicklighter was also charged with methamphetamine possession, sale of methamphetamine and manufacturing methamphetamine. She was arrested Friday, after investigators found the "remnants of a meth lab," materials and supplies to make meth in the apartment.
Parrish was not home at the time, he said.
The undercover operation was led by Inv. Kent Munsey. Both Kicklighter and Parrish remain behind bars, awaiting further court action, Anderson said.
