A candidate for U.S. Senate attended the Democratic Party of Bulloch County's 2013 Independence Gala. But it wasn't the keynote speaker, state Rep. Scott Holcomb. As he acknowledged in an interview before dinner Saturday in Georgia Southern University's Russell Union Ballroom, rumors have circulated that Holcomb might become a candidate for U.S. Senate or for governor.
