One friend says, "No one does more for her fellowman than Barbara Fox." Since moving to Statesboro in 2005, Barbara has become immersed in a host of worthwhile endeavors. A lifelong sports' enthusiast, Barbara and friend Mary Phelps bake cookies and brownies for the team to enjoy on road games. Barbara is a faithful member of Statesboro's First United Methodist Church where she has found many avenues of service, including volunteering in the church office, working with the backpack buddies ministry to ensure children are not hungry on weekends when they are away from school breakfast and lunch programs. Barbara is a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels deliveries, she is active in the United Methodist Women, serving as treasurer of the Dreta Sharpe Circle and co-chairs the effort to serve funeral meals at First Methodist.
