Statesboro Police Arrests
    Arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.
Robert Britton Beecher,21, Gentilly Drive – improper use of a horn, DUI.
Trevor Alan Edwards, 21, Henry Drive – public indecency.
Alyssa Aubrey Bresher, 19, Rucker Lane – theft by shoplifting.
Camekib Shanette Murphy, 23, Glennville – theft by shoplifting.
Byron Lanier Lovette, 23, Akins Road, Glennville – theft by shoplifting.
 
Bulloch County Sheriff's Arrests
    Arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.
   
Georgia Southern University Arrests
    Arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Information unavailable due to technical difficulties at GSP Post 45.

Statesboro Police Incidents
    Incidents occurring Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.
    GEORGIA AVENUE – A woman said another woman placed threatening phone calls to her phone.
    WEST GRADY STREET – A woman said a neighbor observed several men stealing her swimming pool.
     ROBIN HOOD TRAIL – A man reported the theft of a Sony PSP.
WAL-MART - A woman removed whitening strips and diet pills from boxes, concealed the items in her purse and left without paying.
In a separate incident two men stole a felony amount of home items, auto items, hygienic items and clothing.
BELK – A woman stuffed clothing into her purse and left without paying.
BUTLER HOMES – An officer responding to a reported fight spoke to a victim who said a woman and her two sons jumped on him. The woman said the complainant stole money from her sons and tried to attack them.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
    CYPRESS LAKE ROAD – (Register) Deputies arrested a loud and disorderly woman during a call in response to a domestic dispute.
STILSON-LEEFIELD ROAD – (Brooklet) A woman said a man became verbally abusive with her and her juvenile son in an argument over a gas can.
ELDORA ROAD – (Ellabell) A woman said a man grabbed her, shook her and called her a vulgar name when he threatened to “get” her.
    JENI WRIGHT LANE – (Brooklet) Deputies responded to a reported fight.
    CHANCE’S MOBILE HOME PARK – (Clito) A man reported the thefts of his grandchildren’s two bikes – one pink, one blue – from his yard.

Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter Reports
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of Aug. 17-23:
    Animals incoming:
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, rural areas - 19 dogs and two cats.
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, Statesboro city limits – one dog and four cats.
    Surrendered by citizens – two dogs and 13 cats.
    Number of animals in surrendered litters – two puppies and 22 kittens.
    Animals outgoing:
    Shelter adoptions – five dogs and five cats.
    Pets & People adoptions – two cats.
    Returned to owners – two dogs.
    Euthanized from isolation – 16 dogs and 11 cats.
    Officer activity:
    Opossum complaint – one.
Owl complaints – one.
    Court summons/citations - eight.
    Warnings issued - 10.
    Money collected:
    Adoption fees - $420.
    Surrender fees - $50.
    Returned animal fines - $50.
    Donations - $82.
    Miscellaneous - $3.
