Statesboro Police Incidents
EAST MAIN STREET — Officers responding to a call about an unwanted person arrested a man for probation violation.
MORRIS STREET — A woman called police when her ex-boyfriend came to her home to retrieve belongings and started arguing with her.
In a separate incident, a woman told police her retirement check had not come and she thought someone stole her mail.
WAL-MART — A couple were arguing about child care and the woman called her father about the argument. He called Millen Police, who called Statesboro Police, who located the couple in the store. The couple said everything was OK.
PARKER'S ENZONE — A woman said her boyfriend choked her, and as she was fleeing in a friend's car, he reached into the car and punched her in the face.
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
DRY BRANCH VILLAGE — (Register) A woman called for help when she and her husband's verbal argument turned physical. Deputies arrived but the man had fled.
TRUCKING INDUSTRIAL — (Register) A man said another man was holding a truck as collateral and the two argued over the matter.
WATERS CEMETERY ROAD — ·(Statesboro) A woman said another female who has custody of the complainant's daughter refused to allow her visitation because the child had a party to attend.
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
Troopers issued nine warnings, mad one emergency relay of blood or medical supplies, and investigated six crashes with four reported injuries Saturday.
