Statesboro Police Arrests
      
        Michael Richard Godwin Sr., 30,Bluff Drive, Eden — theft by shoplifting.                Christopher B. Myers, 23, Lanier Drive — probation violation, failure to appear.
        Eva Curtis, 41, Back Street Blue Hole, Newington — probation violation.
        Samuel Joseph Johnson, 18, Robinhood Trail — pedestrian under the influence, underage possession of alcohol.
        Gary Steven Wadell, 48, Pinemount Boulevard  — carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a pistol without a license, carrying a weapon inside a school safety zone, public intoxication.
        Duane Leroy Neesam, 69, Industrial Road, Sylvania — probation violation.
        Ashley Nicole White, 25, Staluy Avenue — no proof of insurance, expired tag, driving without a license, giving false information.
        John Steven Sharp, 20, Chandler Road — battery, underage possession of alcohol, public intoxication, criminal trespass.

Georgia State Patrol Arrests
        Troopers issued a combination of seven arrests Saturday and Sunday.
                        
Georgia Southern University Arrests
         Joseph Alan Artley, 20, Chandler Road — underage possession/consumption of alcohol, obstruction of an officer and possession of a false I.D.
         Phillip David Eckerd, 19, Rogers Road —  driving with suspended license, no proof of insurance and registration requirements.
          Marvin Gerard Lemons, 21, Lanier Drive —   driving with suspended license and littering.
        Officers issue two traffic citations Sunday.
        
Statesboro Police Incidents     
        WAL-MART — A man stuffed several tape measures into his pants and tried leaving without paying.
        DOS PRIMOS — Officers responding to a report of " a man with a gun" arrested a man for carrying a concealed weapon, on school safety zone, without a permit while he was publicly intoxicated.
        JOHNSON CAFE — A woman said her child's father grabbed her by the shoulders during an argument about her kicking him out.
        JACKSONS — Police arrested three men for underage drinking after responding to a reported fight.
        PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — A man said a woman and another man harass him by phone and make  threats.
        MORRIS STREET — A woman reported a diamond ring stolen.
        LYDIA LANE — A man told police he wanted his stepson's girlfriend, who had been staying with  them, gone. She said she could not leave until she flies to her mother's home in a few days.
        THE EXCHANGE APARTMENTS — A man reported a wallet, Ipod, cell phone and cash from a car.
        COPPER BEECH TOWNHOUSES — A woman said someone stole her purse during a party. The purse was found outside the building minus the contents.
        In a separate incident a woman said a man threatened her with bodily harm.
        In a third, unrelated incident, a man said two unknown men began arguing with him. One spit on him and they both attacked, knocking him down and causing visible injuries as they kicked and hit him.
               
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents     
        No incident reports available.
        
Georgia State Patrol Incidents  
        Troopers issued four warnings, assisted two motorists and investigated one crash Saturday and Sunday.
               
Georgia Southern University Incidents
         FRIDAY — Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted six motorists and investigated one accident.
        SATURDAY — Officers issued six traffic warnings and assisted one injured person.
        SUNDAY — Officers issue two traffic citations, three traffic warnings, assisted three motorists and responded to two alarms.
        UNIVERSITY VILLAS — A fence was damaged .
        SOUTHERN PINES — Several vehicles were damaged by paint ball guns.
        Also, someone reported being harassed.
        SOUTHERN COURTYARD — A vehicle window was broken.
        KENNEDY HAL — The windows were broken in two vehicles.
        PAULSON STADIUM — Someone reported being harassed.
        RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER — A case of aggravated assault was reported at the RAC fields.
        INFO TECHNOLOGY — A stolen vehicle, reported by Statesboro Police Department, was recovered in the parking lot.

        Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Saturday and Sunday:
        Bulloch County Sheriff's Department —  38 calls.
        Statesboro Police Department — 76 calls.
        University Police — two calls.
        Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — 12 calls.
        Candler County Sheriff's Department — 10 calls.
        Claxton Police  Department — three calls.
        Brooklet Police Department — two calls.
        Portal Police Department — two calls.
        Evans County Sheriff's Department — three calls.
       
911 Fire Department Reports
        Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Saturday and Sunday :
        Statesboro Fire Department — nine calls.
        Metter Fire Department — one call.
               
911 EMS Reports
        Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Saturday and Sunday :
        Bulloch County EMS — two accident calls, one fire call and 30 medical calls.  
        Candler County EMS — five  medical calls. 
        Evans County EMS — two medical calls.   
        Central 911 operators also routed a call to Effingham County 911, a call to Savannah - Chatham County Metro Police, a call to Tattnall County 911 and a call to Emanuel County 911/
