Statesboro Police Arrests
    Ale Marvan Sanchez, 25, U.S. 301 South — driving while unlicensed, registration violations.
    Eli Plascenio Marben, 25, Country Lakes Estates — driving while unlicensed, expired tag, giving false information.
    Philip Rex Bartles, 20, Pierwood Way, Evans — possession of a false identification, underage possession of alcohol, public intoxication.
    
Bulloch Sheriff’s Arrests
    Arrests made over the weekend will be published Tuesday.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Arrests made Friday and Saturday will be published Monday.
    
Georgia Southern University Arrests
    Arrests made over the weekend will be published Tuesday.
       
Statesboro Police Incidents
     GARDEN DISTRICT — A complainant reported a book bag and Ipod taken from his apartment.
     In a separate incident a man reported $100 taken from a car’s glove box.
     WAL-MART — A couple females, one a juvenile, were caught stealing by placing cosmetics in  their purses.
    Another man was caught taking Play Station memory cards. He ran and pushed a pursuing store employee/officer into a fence but was arrested anyway.
    Another man stole $26 worth of Delsym cold medicine.
    SEASONS APARTMENTS — Police responded to a fight between several people.
    COPPER BEECH APARTMENTS — A man said another man, angry over an ex-girlfriend, damaged his car extensively.
    ROBIN HOOD TRAIL — A man reported the theft of a laptop computer.
    LANIER DRIVE — A man hiding in bushes was found to be intoxicated and after he used profanity towards police, was charged with public intoxication, underage possession of alcohol, and possession of a fake ID.
    
Bulloch Sheriff’s Incidents
     COX FARM ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said her drunken husband came into her room and accused her of cheating on him, then pushed her before she could leave.
    BRADLEY’S USED CARS — (Statesboro) A man said someone shot several cars with paint balls.
    ADABELLE ROAD — (Register) A woman reported several jewelry items and perfume stolen.
    TALL TIMBERS LANE — (Brooklet)  A man reported the theft a condenser coil and copper wire.
    BROOKFIELD ROAD — (Brooklet) A man reported the theft of a black pit bulldog puppy.

Animal Shelter Reports
    The Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter reported the following activity for the week of  Oct. 6 through 12:
    Animals received:
    Rural county areas, Bulloch Humane Enforcement  —  two dogs.
    Statesboro city limits, Bulloch Humane Enforcement — four dogs and two cats.
    Surrendered by citizens — 10 dogs and one cat.
    Number in litters surrendered — two puppies and 13 kittens.
    Animals out:
    Shelter adoptions — three dogs and one cat.
    Pets & People adoptions — two dogs and two cats.
    Returned to owners — three dogs.
    Escaped from shelter — one cat.
    Died at shelter — nine cats.
    Euthanized  — 13 dogs and 24 cats.
    Humane Enforcement calls:
    Court summons/citations — one.
    Warnings — none.
    Money collected:
    Adoption fees — $280.
    Surrender fees — $50.
    Returned animal fines — $75.
    Donations — $25.
