Statesboro Police Arrests          

            Jodie Payant Chambers, 26, Granade Street — leaving the scene of an accident, failure to yield, DUI (refused test).

            Laura Sheppard, 20, North 14th Street, Ft. Calhoun, NE — underage possession of alcohol, DUI under 21.

            Brannen Lee Morton, 26, Stanford Drive — battery.

            April Aleta Rigdon, 23, Gentilly Drive — battery.

            Jakayyah Herrington, 25, Groover Lane — criminal trespass, probation violation.

            Devoris Torrell Fryer, 23, Ga. 235, Waynesboro — simple assault.

            Jeremi Holt, 38, Pine Street — simple battery, public intoxication, obstruction.

            Jamie Johnson Weeks, 21, West Grady Street — simple battery.

            Kaela Morgan Rountree, 18, Deloach Church Road, Claxton — theft by shoplifting.

            Willie James Williams, 41, Riggs Circle — pedestrian under the influence.

            Chris Sandra Kimble Thompson, 43, Jewel Drive — battery.

            Montwally Hagins, 30, Elm Street — disorderly conduct.

                                               

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests           

            Letha Orauell Richardson, 22, Clifton Road — probation violation.

            David Santos Hernandez, 17, Newton's Mobile Home Park — no driver's license, seat belt violation.

            James Lee Dukes, 48, S. Poplar Street, Pembroke — DUI.

            Earnest Anthony Wimes, 21, U.S. 80 — driving while unlicensed, seat belt violation.

            Johnny Paul Finch, 56, Rocky Ford Road, Portal — first degree arson, obstruction.

            Isaac Norman Boatwright, 46, Dry Branch Village — battery.

            Hugo Hernandez, 26, Highway 441 Mobile Home Park, Dublin — no driver's license, driving on  the wrong side of the road.

                                                 

Georgia Southern University Arrests

            FRIDAY — Officers issued three traffic citations.

            SATURDAY — Officers issued two traffic citations.

            SUNDAY — Officers issued two traffic citations.

           

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Troopers issued 50 traffic violation citations Sunday.

            Jarrod Smith, 23, Canoe Place, Metter — DUI (.161).

            Ramon Ramirez, 27, Ga. 46, Metter — DUI (.106).

            Cheryl Martin, 29, Green Willow Drive, Vidalia — DUI (.138).

            Reuben Bernardino, 26, Wolfpen Lane — DUI (refused test).

                       

Statesboro Police Incidents      

            PLAYERS CLUB APARTMENTS — A woman told officers she heard two shots fired, but no shell casings were located.

            In a separate incident, a woman said her ex-boyfriend threatened her with a gun.

            FLOYD STREET — A woman told police someone shattered a car window with a rock and took $200 from one purse and $35 from another.

            HERITAGE WOODS CONDOMINIUMS — Officers responded to a reported domestic dispute and  arrested a man and woman for battery.

            SOUTH ZETTEROWER AVENUE — A woman was struck by a car, with witnesses observing. Witnesses gave a description of the vehicle and officers arrested a woman for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.

            MADISON MEADOWS    A woman said she argued with her husband over money  given to her son by his father. The man accused her of "getting back with her baby's daddy" and held her down on a chair, choking her. The woman's daughter called 911 and the man was gone when police arrived.

            GROOVER LANE — A woman said her boyfriend kicked her car, causing damage.

            BUDGET INN — A  man said he argued with his girlfriend over money and she struck him in  the face.

            WEST GRADY STREET — A  woman said a man slapped her and struck a female friend in the eye with his fist.

            WAL-MART — A store employee said a woman applied makeup to her face then put the makeup, which she did not purchase, into her purse.

            WEST JONES AVENUE — A man on a bicycle struck a car, causing damage. The bike rider was charged with pedestrian under the influence of alcohol.

            WEST MAIN STREET — A man said his brother-in-law threatened to beat him and he feared he may make good on those threats.

            PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — Residents reported hearing shots fired in  the area.

           

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents        

            No incidents reported.

             

Georgia State Patrol Incidents  

            Troopers issued 20 warnings, assisted six motorists, and investigated five crashes with five reported injuries            Sunday.

                       

Georgia Southern University Incidents

            SOUTHERN PINES — Four doors were damaged.

            FRIDAY —  Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted one motorist, and responded to one alarm.

            SATURDAY — Officers issued one traffic warning, and assisted one motorist and one injured person.

            SUNDAY — Officers issued two traffic warnings, investigated one traffic accident, and assisted two motorists.

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 23 calls.

            Statesboro Police Department — 23 calls.

            University Police Department — one call.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — three calls.

            Brooklet Police — three calls.

            Portal Police — one call.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — seven calls.

            Evans County Sheriff's Department — two calls.

             

911 Fire Department Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — four calls.

            Bulloch County volunteer firefighters — two calls.

            Metter Fire Department — two calls.

                       

911 EMS Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Bulloch County EMS — one accident call, one fire call and 13 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — one accident call and six medical calls. 

            Evans County EMS — one medical call.   

            Central 911 operators also routed  three calls to Tattnall county 911, one call to Emanuel County 911 and one call to the Georgia Forestry Commission.
