Statesboro Police Incidents
STADIUM WALK APARTMENTS — man reported the theft of a blue, purple and silver mountain bike.
BERMUDA RUN — A man told police he confronted a man who had been looking into his girlfriend's apartment, and when he stopped the man in the parking lot, offender told him if he ever spoke to him again he would "put a bullet in his head."
QUALITY INN — Two men horse playing in the pool ended up in an altercation when one struck the other, and the other retaliated. Both suffered visible injuries but declined to press charges.
GEORGIA VILLAS — An officer responding to a report of shots fired found two men with a potato gun. One an was wanted in another county and arrested on outstanding warrants.
WHITE SHEET METAL — A man reported a tool box with about $300 worth of tools taken from a work truck.

The Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter reported the following activity for the week of May 26-31:
Animals received:
Rural county areas, Bulloch Humane Enforcement — 13 dogs and 10 cats.
Statesboro city limits, Bulloch Humane Enforcement — one dog.
Register city limits, Bulloch Humane Enforcement — one dog.
Abandoned at shelter — one dog and four cats.
Surrendered by citizens — two dogs and 15 cats.
Number in litters surrendered — 10 puppies and 43 kittens.
Animals out:
Shelter adoptions — four dogs and three cats.
Humane Society Adoptions — two dogs.
Returned to owners — five dogs.
Escaped from shelter — two cats.
Died at shelter — four cats.
Euthanized — 15 dogs and 23 cats, plus one dog from the adoption floor.
