Statesboro Police Arrests
    William Sherman Giradeau, 27, Old River Road – simple battery, interfering with an emergency call, probation violation.
    Desmond Dominic Redding, 25, Hwy. 301 – obstruction, giving false information, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana.
    Rodreqiues Carlos Cooper, 20, N. Zetterower Ave. – possession of cocaine.
    Diogenes Miguel Herrera, 21, Lanier Drive – criminal trespass
    Margaret Sybil Jackson, 30, Mudd Row, Brooklet – obstruction, giving false information, disorderly conduct.
    James Russell Mincey Jr., 31, W. Main Street – possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, probation violation.
    Jack Frost, 31, Lee Street, Brooklet – obstruction.
    Monica Celeste Ogelsby, 37, Brook Run Road, Register – theft by shoplifting.
    Haley Jo Williams, 17, Sinkhole Road – theft by shoplifting.
    Justin Tyler Celeste, 19, Hwy. 280, Pembroke – expired tag, driving while license is suspended.
    Laura Ann Medori, 17, Allenwood Dr. – theft by shoplifting.
    Ronald Dean Williams, 46, S. Main Street – probation violation.

Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Troopers issued 17 traffic violation citations on Friday.

Statesboro Police Incidents
    180 FITNESS – Officers responded to the location when a man at the gym reported a that another man's keys had been stolen. The man missing the keys had already left the location by the time officers arrived. When he was contacted by the officers, he said he did not wish to file charges.
    W. JONES STREET – Officers attempted to perform a routine traffic stop after they observed a driver not wearing a seat belt. The driver would not stop the vehicle for the officers and drove away. When the officers located the vehicle, it had been abandoned and the driver appeared to have fled the scene on foot. Attempts to locate the driver were unsuccessful, and officers had the vehicle towed.
    S. MAIN STREET – A driver was observed not wearing a seat belt. Officers stopped the vehicle and found that the driver was driving on a suspended license.
    N. ZETTEROWER AVE. – Officers observed the door to a business appeared to have been left open. When the key holder was contacted, he met the officers at the business. After further investigation, there appeared to be no damage.
    PACKINGHOUSE ROAD – A man reported a woman appearing to be in medical distress. EMS was called to the scene, and when officers responded, the woman in question said she had taken several sleeping pills after she had an argument with her husband. She told officers that she had no intention of hurting herself by taking the pills. Officers saw no sign of family violence.    
    EAGLE INN – Officers observed a suspicious person outside of the business. When the officers talked to the man, the man said he lived in Statesboro but had gotten a room at the Eagle Inn to "have a good time." Officers found out that the man had an outstanding warrant in Bibb County for a probation violation. The man was taken into custody awaiting extradition to Bibb County.
    RUDE RUDY'S – Two men reported seeing a man leave a restroom saying that he had gotten into a physical altercation with another man. Officers located the injured man and he was taken to East Georgia Regional Medical Center for treatment for the laceration on the back of his head.
                 
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
    DOGWOOD COURT – (Statesboro) A woman called reporting a that a fire had been set behind her residence. Deputies spoke with several witnesses who had seen the offenders in the area where the fire was set. The offenders were arrested.
    CLIFTON ROAD – (Statesboro) Deputies responded to a woman saying she had put some of her son's belongings in a camper for storage, and that she discovered them missing when she was moving out of the residence. The woman's son is currently in jail and could not account for exactly what was missing. The woman said she noticed the door to the camper was open. The woman said she was trying to get a list of the things her son had in storage and get the serial numbers off of the electronics that were missing. She also was advised to get the her son's checking account closed.
    OLD REGISTER ROAD – (Statesboro) A woman reported that someone had entered her vehicle and removed $30 in cash from her center console.
    CLEVY DELOACH ROAD – (Brooklet) Deputies responded to a man reporting that his landlord had cut the power off to his residence because the landlord wanted the complainant to leave. The man said he had been renting the property since last year. The complainant said the landlord owed him money for work done on the property's roof and was upset when his tenant asked him for the money. The man was told this situation was a civil manner that needs to be resolved through the magistrate court.
    W.C. HODGES ROAD – (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a fifth wheel trailer tongue.
    FLINT COURT – (Statesboro) Deputies responded to a woman reporting damage to her swimming pool. She told deputies that someone had cut the liner to the pool. Witnesses told deputies that they had seen two males walking around behind the complainant's house, and when they left, the witnesses inspected the pool and saw that the liner had been cut. She was advised to call the sheriff's office if she saw anyone matching the description of the two men.
    
                
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
    Troopers issued six warnings and investigated two crashes with two injuries on Friday.
