Police Report - June 13

Statesboro Police Arrests     
    Misty Dawn Jolley, 27, Brooklet — battery, third degree cruelty to children.
    Deondrae Terry Wilkerson, 22, Bay Street — probation violation, gambling.
    Trey Michael McLean, 32, Lanier Drive — wanted person, theft by taking motor vehicle.
            
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests    
    No arrests filed.
            
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Rebecca Boyd Solomon, 27, Amberwood Connector, Kingsland — DUI.
    Troopers issued seven traffic violation citations Wednesday.
            
Georgia Southern University Arrests
     Matthew Ryan Riddle, 20, Pinewood Court —  DUI and failure to maintain lane.
    Officers issued one traffic citation Wednesday.
    
Statesboro Police Incidents    
    BUDGET APARTMENTS — Police responded to a call and found a man bleeding from the forehead. He said his live-in girlfriend struck him in the head with a broom stick in the presence of her children. The woman said she did so, but that the  man slapped her first. She was arrested for battery and third degree cruelty to children.
    In a separate incident at Budget Inn (also Budget Apartments) a woman told police she argued with her boyfriend and wanted to leave the premises.
    NIVER ROAD — A man reported the theft of a chain saw from a car port closet.
    PARKER APARTMENTS — A woman told police her friend took her debit card while she was in  the bathroom, and sued it at a bank and at Alltell without her permission.
    STATESBORO PLACE APARTMENTS — A caller told police a woman and two men argued and one man left with the woman. The man remaining at the location told police they were all friends and had been cutting up, not fighting.
    INSTITUTE STREET — A woman said her estranged husband left her 13 messages within an hour demanding she return child support money.
    WAL-MART — A woman reported damage to her car, and police saw a man on video who struck the car with a shopping cart, breaking off a mirror and scratching the car before leaving in a gray truck.
    TOBACCO AND MORE — A man at the South Main Street location reported a forged fictitious check.
    PINE STREET — Police, acting upon a tip, found a man gambling (rolling dice) with money scattered on the ground. Officers arrested the man but reports did not explain with whom the man was gambling or why the second person was not arrested.
    
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents    
    PULASKI ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported a pewter 2003 GMC Sonoma stolen by a known offender.
    HARVEY ROAD — (Brooklet) A man told deputies he argued with his girlfriend about keeping their two kids. He called 911 when she locked herself in the bedroom. She said she argued over keeping the two because she is pregnant again and in a high-risk pregnancy.
    JIM FUTCH ROAD — (Pembroke) A woman said she and her boyfriend were involved in a physical fight with her stepfather when she was trying to move belongings out of his house.
    PECAN GROVE MOBILE HOME PARK —(Portal) A man said he argued with his son about doing work around  the house and told his son he had to move out if he did not help. The son threatened to leave and come back to cut his father's tires, then  threw a knife in his father's direction.
    
Georgia State Patrol Incidents    
    Troopers issued six warnings, assisted four motorists and investigated one crash with one reported injury Wednesday.
        
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    Officers issued three traffic warnings, assisted one injured person and responded to one alarm Wednesday.
        
911  Law Enforcement Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 12 calls.
    Statesboro Police Department — 23 calls.
    University Police Department — one call.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — three calls.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — eight calls.
    Evans County Sheriff's Department — six calls.
        
911 Fire Department Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Wednesday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — two calls.
    Bulloch County Volunteer Firefighters — one call.
    Metter Fire Department — two calls.
        
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County EMS — one accident call and 12 medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — two  medical calls.  
    Evans County EMS — one medical call.    
    Central 911 operators also routed a call to Effingham County 911 and a call to Bryan County 911.
