Statesboro Police Arrests    
    Samuel Arthur Miller, 37, West Grady Street — no proof of insurance, DUI (refused test), seat belt violation.
    
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests   
    Alexis Tamara Joiner, 20, Everett Lane, Brooklet — theft by taking.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Troopers issued 17 citations Tuesday for traffic violations.
         
Georgia Southern University Arrests
      Officers issued one traffic citation Tuesday.
    
Statesboro Police Incidents   
    EAST MAIN STREET — A woman reported an unknown person entered her home.
    MADISON MEADOWS — A complainant reported a broken window.
    WILDWOOD VILLAS — A woman told police she saw juveniles take a neighbor's bike from their porch.
    WILLOW BEND APARTMENTS — A man said someone punched a hole in his vehicle hood and listed suspects.
    TILLMAN PARK APARTMENTS —  A woman reported someone broke a window and littered the pool area.
    FAIR ROAD APARTMENTS — A man told police he fought with a man he did not know who struck him in the head with  the stock of a shotgun.
    INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PANCAKES — A man said his girlfriend struck him several times, once with a hair straightening iron, which lacerated his lip.
    STATESBORO REGIONAL LIBRARY — Library officials called police after a man, told to stop smoking in the lobby, became confrontational and gave library staff problems with his attitude, reports stated.
        
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents

Georgia State Patrol Incidents   
    Troopers issued 20 warnings, assisted a motorist and investigated five crashes with two reported injuries Tuesday.
        
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    BOTANICAL GARDENS — Several lights were reported damaged.
       Officers issued five traffic warnings, investigated one traffic accident, assisted five motorists and responded to two alarms Tuesday.
    
Animal Shelter Reports
    Shelter manager Wendy Joiner reported the following activity at the Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter July 7-13:
    Picked up by Bulloch Humane Enforcement:
        Rural county areas — five dogs.
        Statesboro city limits — three dogs, two cats.
        Portal city limits — three dogs.
    Abandoned at shelter — four cats.
    Surrendered by citizens — two cats, 11 kittens.
    Adoptions:
        Shelter - none (due to parvo outbreak/depopulation.)
        Humane Society — one dog.
    Returned to owners — three dogs.
    Died at shelter — a dog and a cat.
    Animals euthanized:
        From isolation —  18 dogs and a cat.
        From adoption floor —16 dogs.
    Calls for Bulloch Humane Enforcement:
        Two calls regarding raccoon problems.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Tuesday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department - four calls.
    Statesboro Police Department — 15 calls.
    University Police Department — one call.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — four calls.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — two calls.
    Brooklet Police Department — one call.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Tuesday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — two calls.
    Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters — one call.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Tuesday:
    Bulloch County EMS — 14 medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — two medical calls.  
    Evans County EMS — two medical calls.    
    Central 911 operators also routed   a call to Ferrelgas and a call to Screven county 911.
