Statesboro Police Incidents
    Incidents occurring Friday through Monday will be reported Tuesday.
     PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — A woman said her boyfriend struck her and her juvenile daughter several times with a belt. Then he struck the juvenile in the face with his face, broke the complainant's mirror, and grabbed her cell phone when she tried calling for help. He tried to break the phone, then fled before police could arrive.
    RUSTY'S TAVERN —  A man said another man he knew came into his business, put him n a head lock and threatened to harm him before slamming him into a door frame. The victim suffered visible injuries.
    CAMPUS CROSSING — A woman said her boyfriend slapped her several times.
    COPPER BEECH TOWNHOUSES — A woman said she and a roommate argued over the other one not helping pay bills, and the other woman broke a vase.
    
    
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
    ORABELLE ROAD — (Portal) A woman said a man called her cell phone, calling her vulgar names and warning her to " watch herself."
    ROCKY FORD ROAD — (Portal) A woman said she is missing a diamond necklace, and learned the necklace was pawned by a home health employee that worked for her to help with her husband.
    EMIT DEAL ROAD — (Statesboro) A man and woman arguing called a deputy to help with a dispute over belongings. The man was backing out of a driveway when his ex-girlfriend fell; she said he grabbed her arm, making her fall.
    STILSON-LEEFIELD ROAD — (Stilson) A man said he noticed his oil pressure low and found where someone had broken his oil cap and stuffed rags into the opening.
    HIGHPOINT CIRCLE — (Statesboro) A woman said a man was acting suspiciously in the area. Deputies arrested the offender for criminal  trespass.    PIONEER TRAIL — (Portal) A man said a woman harassed him repeatedly by phone.
    ELDORA ROAD — (Ellabell) A woman told deputies she and her daughter argued over her daughter's friend.
    MOORE ROAD — Portal) A woman said a man took her purse and refused to return it. Deputies located the man, who gave the purse and its contents back to the woman.
    HARVEY WILSON ROAD — (Portal) A woman reported a domestic disturbance, and deputies arrested a man they said was involved, charging him with second degree criminal damage, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.
    BRIARWOOD DRIVE — (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a lap top computer from his home after a party.

    The Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter reported the following activity for the week of Feb. 1-8:
    Animals incoming:
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, rural areas — 22 dogs and 11 cats.
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, Statesboro city limits — two dogs and a cat.
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, Brooklet city limits — one dog.
    Abandoned at shelter — two dogs.
    Surrendered by citizens — five dogs and six cats.
    Number in litters surrendered — 12 puppies and one kitten.
    Animals outgoing:
    Shelter adoptions — five dogs.
    Humane Society adoptions — two dogs.
    Returned to owners — two dogs.
    Euthanized from isolation — 14 dogs and six cats.
    Euthanized from adoption floor — one cat.
    Humane Enforcement calls:
    Citations — nine.
    Warnings — 14.
