Statesboro Police Incidents
WESTSIDE GOLD AND PAWN — A purple and silver 10-speed bicycle was found by the railroad tracks.
CAMPUS CLUB APTS — Police responded to a domestic dispute where several residents stated they heard a male and female arguing. Both parties seemed to be in good physical condition.
WALNUT STREET — A man threatened to do a woman bodily harm and she said he was capable of following through on a treat to shoot up her house.
UNIVERSITY PLAZA — Officers observed a large fight at the Plaza and approached the scene, causing the crowd to disperse. A man was arrested when he was seen striking another subject.
NORTHSIDE DRIVE — A woman was pulled over for a seat belt violation and found to have a suspended license.
NORTHSIDE DRIVE — A man was pulled over for a cracked windshield. He was found to have a suspended license and a suspended vehicle registration and was arrested.
WILDWOOD CIRCLE — A man and a woman shared a credit card while they were dating. Now the credit company is trying to collect from the woman on the debt generated by the man.
SOUTHSIDE SERVICE CENTER — A man wanted to get his belongings from a car in the impound lot, but the employee’s would not let him retrieve anything until he paid the storage fees. The man said he cannot afford the fees at this time, but needs the belongings.
FRANKLIN TOYOTA — A car was rented to a woman and was supposed to be returned at the end of December. Attempts to contact the woman have been unsuccessful.
FAIR ROAD — A man was stopped for a seat belt violation and found to have a warrant in Waynesboro for deposit account fraud.
RITE AID — Officers responded to a sick person who claimed they were having a panic attack.
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
CASH ROAD (Brooklet) — A man came to a woman's home without permission and confronted her regarding a previous incident.
WYNN MARSH ROAD — A 2008 sticker was taken from a person's vehicle.
WILLIAM JAMES MIDDLE — An altercation took place between four students on Jan. 23.
PIKE ROAD — A man reported that his mailbox was damaged.
HIGHWAY 301 (Claxton) — The Pojo's clerk stated that a man cam in to the store and shoved a Georgia Bulldogs bandana down his pants and exited the store without paying for it.
CREPE MYRTLE EAST — There was a report of a domestic dispute.
LANGSTON CHAPEL MIDDLE — There was a report of a vehicle fire. The vehicle was later discovered to be stolen.
BRAGG ROAD (Brooklet) — Someone stole 11 50-pound bag of pecans from a woman's back porch.
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
Troopers issued 15 citations and 21 warnings, assisted two motorists, investigated three crashes and helped three injured people.
