Statesboro Police Incidents
MORRIS HEIGHTS APARTMENTS — Police responded to a report of a large group of people fighting, but everyone had fled upon t heir arrival. Witnesses reported hearing gun shots fired, and a blood trail was found, but no injured person was located.
CLUB JACKSON — (Old Register Road) Police responded to a report of a fight, and when they ordered everyone out of the club, one woman cursed and fought her way back inside, thus ending up arrested for obstruction and disorderly conduct.
DON CORLEONES — A man said two men ordered a pizza, picked it up and left without paying for it.
SEA ISLAND BANK — (Statesboro Mall branch) A woman said a man with a metal baseball bat approached her in the drive-through as she was about to make a deposit, and demanded the deposit bag with money from RentOwn.
UNIVERSITY POINTE — A woman said a man who had been sitting in her vehicle took an envelope containing $140.
