Statesboro City Council will meet today for the second and final scheduled meeting in May. Councilmen, Mayor Joe Brannen, and City Manager Frank Parker will convene in City Hall’s second floor chambers at 6 p.m. for the routine meeting. Headlining a relatively short list of items for consideration will be a motion to award Tyson Utilities Construction an approximately $1.24 million contract to extend Statesboro’s water and sewer services to undeveloped areas southeast of the city.
