Marcia Collins was named as the new Bulloch County Commission clerk Tuesday during the regular Bulloch County Commissioners meeting. Collins will replace Evelyn Wilson, who will retire as of Dec. 31.
Commissioners also voted Tuesday to purchase two ambulances from Peach State Ambulances for $205, 156 during a regular commission meeting; and to construct a metal storage building at Mill Creek Regional Park, accepting a bid by Stewart and Associates to perform the task for $114,000.
Commissioners also voted unanimously to end an agreement with the City of Statesboro regarding fire services provided to an area outside and surrounding the city limits.
