ä PUBLIC SAFETY Day will be held Saturday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m., at the Randy Newman Community Center, Railroad Street, Brooklet. Food available. Sponsored by Brooklet Kiwanis Club.

ä BLACK WOMEN of Profession’s 3rd Annual Jeans and Jewels Gala will be held Saturday at The Hall on Vine, East Vine Street, beginning at 8 p.m. Dinner will be served.
