Gregg Ponder has been named to the position of Assistant Vice President at Farmers and Merchants Bank. Rick Nessmith, President of FMB, explained that Ponder’s official title will be Assistant Vice President—Loan Officer.
Ponder was employed for the past eight years by Pineland State Bank in Metter, where he was also immediate past president of the Metter Kiwanis Club. He is a 1994 graduate of Georgia Southern University where he earned his BA Degree in Business. He and his wife, Lisa, have three children and attend Statesboro First Baptist Church.
