Brad Williams named to FMBs Board of Directors
Founding partner of Dabbs-Williams Contractors joins bank

     Farmers and Merchants Bank president Ricky Nessmith announced the addition of Brad M. Williams to the bank's Board of Directors. Williams is a founding partner of Dabbs-Williams General Contractors which has been in business since 2000 and has grown to nearly $25 million in annual revenue and employs 35 people.
      Williams is a graduate of Georgia Southern University where he earned his BS Degree in Building Construction Management. Commenting on the addition of Williams to the board, Nessmith said, "Brad brings a youthful energy to our board, but he also brings a proven skill set and work ethic which has produced one of our area's most successful businesses. His many memberships prove his community involvement, and his other board positions reveal his strong leadership qualities. We are honored to add such a fine community servant to our board."
      Williams' memberships include the GA Chapter of the Association of General Contractors, the Statesboro Home Builders Association, the U.S. Green Building Council, the Statesboro/ Bulloch County Chamber of Commerce, and the Southern Boosters. His board memberships include Joseph's Home for Boys, the GSU Construction Management Advisory Council, the Ogeechee Technical Foundation, and the Boys and Girls Club of Statesboro. He has coached soccer in the Statesboro Bulloch County Recreation Department since 2004, and was featured in Statesboro Magazine's "4 under 40" in February of 2007. He and his wife, the former Julie Marie Dabbs, have five children and attend First United Methodist Church in Statesboro.
