Mr. and Mrs. Edwin L. Wynn Jr. of Statesboro are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Elizabeth, to David Wayne Long, son of Mr. and Mrs. William T. Long of Raleigh, North Carolina.

Amy is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Edwin L. Wynn Sr., Mrs. Gwendolyn S. Pratt and Mr. Samuel R. Pratt Sr. She is a 2007 graduate of Statesboro High School and a 2011 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. Amy is currently employed as a registered nurse in the pediatric emergency department at WakeMed Health Hospital in Raleigh.

David is the grandson of Mrs. Inez W. Creech and the late Mr. Worley A. Creech and the late Mr. and Mrs. Oscar W. Long. He is a 2008 graduate of Broughton High School in Raleigh and a 2012 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in economics. David is currently employed as a mortgage consultant with Wells Fargo & Company in Raleigh.

The couple plans to wed on October 29, 2016, at Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh.
