    Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Braxton Rogers Jr. of Statesboro announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mary Ann Rogers of Savannah, to Ernest Lester "Trey" Lamberth III of Savannah, son of Mrs. Juhee Younghee Lamberth of Athens, Ga., and Mr. Ernest Lester Lamberth Jr. of Bluffton, S.C.

    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Dempsey "Bill" Tucker of Statesboro and Mrs. Dorothy Jordan Rogers and the late Mr. Jerome Braxton Rogers Sr. of Claxton, Ga. Mary Ann is a 2002 honor graduate of Statesboro High School. She graduated cum laude from Georgia Southern University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in public relations and in 2009 with a Master of Arts in teaching. While at Georgia Southern, Mary Ann was a member of the university's Student Government Association and the Zeta Xi chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha. She is an instructor at The STEM Academy @ Bartlett in Savannah.

    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Kim Oak Soon and the late Mr. Lee Bong Gil of Seoul, South Korea, and Mr. Ernest Lester Lamberth Sr. and the late Mrs. Ella Ruth Wheeler Lamberth of Scottsboro, Ala. Trey is a 2002 honor graduate of Scottsboro High School. He graduated in 2007 from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in sports and recreation. At the University of West Georgia, Trey was a member of the university's golf team and the Eta Sigma chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha. He is the head golf professional at Crosswinds Golf Club in Savannah.

    The couple has planned to wed July 2, 2016, in Savannah.
