Mrs. Lynn Johnson of Brooklet announces the engagement of her daughter, Rebekah Ann Johnson of Statesboro, to Ben Anthony Sammons, son of Mr. Tony Sammons and Ms. Cathy Hines Sammons.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Barbara Gerrald. She is a graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and is employed at McCook's Pharmacy.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Sarah Y. Hines and Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Sammons. He is a graduate of Statesboro High School and is employed at Great Dane.

The couple is planning to wed on April 9, 2016, at
2 p.m. at the Brooklet Primitive Baptist Church.
